When a longtime client with refined cutting edge sensibility buys a 1980s western-scale colorful vacation house, how do you make it feel like their home?  First, remove extraneous décor, but keep one antler chandelier. Darken the cherry floor to a deep chocolate. Repaint all the reds and greens to blue, grey and cream. Choose clean lined but generous modern furniture with some curves and lots of warm textures. Finish with great local artwork.
